I remember that...

Hello everyone this time I am here to talk you about something really crazy and cool that happens to every person in the world...Flashbacks. This happens when something or someone reminds you a moment that you already lived in your past and those things that make you remember them are the most remarkable in your life, that is why you have something to make those memories come back.
I am going to tell you a little tail that will make this be more easy to understand....

The first syntom is losting the memorie but I can still remember, I have just 5 minutes but I am completely sure that I will survive because I still remember. This house reminds me the children, when the they use to play around the house, everytime that I yelled at them because of their mess, but that doesn't even matter anymore, they are dead, but I can still remember them that is a good sign I guess.
Smells awful that should be the blood of the infected ones,I would like to Have one of those coffes that she used to prepare me at tuesday's afternoon I can even remember how it tastes. I have so many doubts and I have just 2 minutes left, but I still remember, I think I am safe.
(2 minutes later) I can hear how they are coming for me, I am scared, nothing but eight bullets against forty and even more. After they come in there will be nothing but a gun with seven bullets,a bed full of blood and a man who couldn't stand this madness.

STORY TIME !

When I was a kid my parents used to scratch the nose and leave me alone at home because they said that I was old and strong enough to take care of myself, to prepare my food and even brushing my teeth, sounds really dumb but holding the knife is not easy for someone who hates to be clean. I am such a mess and I admit it and I think that is why I can see things that no one else can can do. I don't know if I am crazy but once I saw a couple giving monsters to each other next to the umbrella of my parents room, none of them had a face, but I was a kid those kind of things didn't worry me. But now I realize that those kind of things happen to me because my parents  were not there when I needed them, is all their fault nowadays I can't even house when I zoo to their faces that actually doesn't exist for me anymore.

Yes peole, I create the story that you just read, and I know you should be asking why there are some words that have no sense, but actually they do and is because they have other meaning. The condition for making  this story was that we have to use some words with other meaning, in my case those words were:
-go on vacations= scratch the nose
-toothbrush= knife
-kisses= monsters
-window= umbrella
-smile= house
-look= zoo

Co-writing

hello everybody here I am once again to talk you about the experience of co-writing, something that should be really worked by all the schools and you will know why...But this is just my opinion you tell me if is true, stupid, important whatever. We were doing something really cool, writing a kind of story but all that thing began with a question (a really weird one) that will make us answer things in relation with it, but obviously all the answers were completely different and really crazy because the words that we use to create that story are a little unconventional....for example words like: Lamp, tree, snake, dumb and even more, but you tell me how can a story be something serious with those words ?. Other really nice thing about this was that every person wrotethe things that they were comfortable for continue the story or making it something funny, because doing this exercise we did have fun but despite having fun and all that that I mentioned we tried to make it coherent as possible making this story something that you can read, understand and enjoy.
Here is a little part of my story:

....but I don't know if you are able to go to the tree and find the answer without losing the bet and I want you to do it for me and you know that if they are together nothing can stop them. I will go to that tree I need to know the truth and I will fight that dog...

As you can see, is pretty crazy but really funny...see you until the next one.

Colombia very well

hello everybody(sorry for being late) in this post I want to tell you about a new programm that you maybe don't even know and you would like to... I am talking about Colombia ver well. This is a proposal from the president Juan Manuel Santos  that as I already told you is something new and He wants to take this big project until 2025 where he thinks is the "limit" for students to improve their english. The president wants all the students to be bilingual or maybe reach a level where you can understand the english, because here in Colombia this language have turned into something really important, even to work is like a requirement(some places).

Nowadays the english(here in colombia) for teenagers or adults became in something really necessary because of the things that they want to study or what they are working on. Most of the time you want a job who requires the english language or maybe study/work in other country but most of the people do those things knowing nothing of english, so that is one of the reasons why this project needs to make colombians improve their english level. That is a big opportunity that maybe can make a difference in your life and obviously will make you grow talking about language, so take advantage of this kind of things is what can give you more opportunities.

Grammar

If we can write, speak, read and communicate with the others  eloquently is because of the grammar and most of the times we do not pay attention to how important it is of being careful with the uses we give to our language, because day by day we are falling in the same mistake of talk or write how we want to just because is easier. when we make thosse kind of mistakes we do not now how much damage we are doing to the language and we are going so far with this that there are even some words in english or spanish and even other languages that were forgotten and we do not even now that.
Is a matter of persistence with the people, the most we use the language how we have to the most the people will use it that way. Social media is really affecting grammar, because there people can write or express themselves as they want to because there is no rules, but is not social media's fault everything begins in yourself.
We use to change the words and sometimes cut some letters and children who are just learning how to speak, think that the correct way to say it is the wrong one, so that is why we should take care of our language with so much effort, because maybe in a few years later if we still doing this what we know as language will be completely changed.

Idioms

Idioms is the best way to know other cultures and personalities. When you use them you are making reference to the place where you come from, because you are talking as your people do; that's why Idioms in every part of the world are unique, not everyone will understand what you are reffering to. Some people use Idioms with other purposes, for example as a code to communicate with others, is like creating another language where just two people understand what they are talking, but others use them to make fun of the people who don't understand. In english and spanish exist a lot of idioms that we can give a lot of meanings, but those idioms only have one definition, down here I am going to write some Idioms in english for you as an example....


- All that glitters is not gold =  No todo lo que brilla es oro
Not everything is how it looks like

-It's not my cup of tea = No es lo mio
That is not my bussines / Is not my problem

When you talk to much and you don't go to the point

Why people use idioms in their language ?

Is correct to express with idioms ? Why ?

A teacher or maybe a... ?

You should be wondering about the title and the answer is in my friend who I interviewed. Mariana use to study our career, actually she just studied one semester but she regret because being a language teacher did not fullfill her expectations. She loves languages, but she said that in our career what you see the most is the Pedagogy and both languages are not so demanding as they will have to be.

I asked her if she would like to teach literature someday here in Colombia and she said no, because here we are mired in terms of education and if we want to evolve we would have to make a big effort to change. Other of the reasons why she would like to work out of here, is because she thinks that english is a big tool for what she's going to work on. I asked if she would like to work as a teacher who teaches Literature but she's not sure about that, "Could be a posibility, I shall think it" Said mariana. 

Mariana considers that being a teacher is something quite difficult because you have to deal with the knowledge of many people, and in your hands is their learning and you´re the one who decides to change it...that's her main doubt about being a teacher, but she thinks that at least she could try it.

Les Choristes

When we talk about changin other people's life we need to reffer to a movie like this. Les choristes is that kind of movie that inmediatley with the face of sadness of Pepinot (One of the main characters) touches your heart and obviously all those kids who belong to that school have a story to tell, one is more sad than the other and there is where you know they need a change.
I feel really identyfied with "Clement Mathieu", the teacher who do the impossible just for the benefit of others; Others who just want to sleep, smoke, play or maybe have a family. His method to change their minds and way of living is the music and I think that I can go further than that because I have so many 'tools' to turn someone bad into a person full of knowledge and values, just as clement did and I hope to make them rise as much as I can, not only in languages but also in a social context because no one prepares you fro society and how hard is to fight against it.
Is really complex to understand the students thoughts and this movie is the perfect example, because you will have to face the reallity and try to take advantage of it as much as you can because every student is a different experience that will make you learn how good or bad you are, but for students you will be both because for them everything is a matter of opinion, you are theone who can change that.
I invite you people to watch the movie and think if you would like to turn into a life changer or just a teacher.

...About a Teacher

Jesus Angel Castro despite being a teacher who works everyday for the benefit of his students is the person that gave me the inspiration and motivation to learn a second language. He is my uncle and as you already know a teacher, a really good one, who believes in education and also in the students, that's why he try to give the best for making them rise not only as a student, but also as people who can respect, love and share what they feel important.
Just as me,his biggest dream was being a teacher, because he consider that making the difference is not enough but maybe is the correct thing. he use to work as a teacher but he decided to expand his vision as a proffesional and now he is something more than a teacher, he is that guy who you can trust your knowledge..."Trust the knowledge to a teacher is something even better that you can imagine, because we try to guide the students with what they know but filling some blanks with effort, dedication and something of passion for what you do".
"Not alyways will be easy to teach, some people are afraid of learning but you can't surrender, you have to fight until the very end and try to find a way to make easier the learning for every kind of person". Those are some of his words...
He is happy for what he does and he will be proud of it until he feels that teaching is useless, something that will never happen.
 By the way he likes cake as much as I do!

Essay about the song

Education By pearl jam is a song about someone who finds unconfortable with education system that  we have nowadays because government is always giving you less from that you expect and they will always make something but for their own benefit, and I in agreement with the lyrics because education is not a matter of importance in so many countries. When I was in high school I felt just exactly like the song because my teachers use to worry about everything but academical things. 
I know this song since I was in seventh grade, just the time that i felt that my teacher did not fullfill my necesities and that is the main reason why I feel really identified with the song.
Music happens to be one of the biggest influence in shool because most of the singers try to express how they feel about it in their songs and in the other hand school is also a big influence in music because people can develop it as a career, use it to express how they feel and more.
I really like alejandra´s song (Jeremy By Pearl Jam) because it makes me think in all kind of situations I will have to deal when I become a teacher, but help my students is my first job as a teacher.

Things about me

My name is Sebastian Carvajal, I´m 18. I live in Bello in a neighborhood called Las Vegas, a really lovely place that is. I live with my parents and my brother, his name is Didier, he is my big brother and in my entire life he has been like a tutor for me, because he´s always the one who helps and obviously give me advices, no matter what he will always stand by me and the same thing my parents. Things that I really enjoy to do is reading, playing a lot of Videogames, spend time with some friends and being as happier as I can. Enjoying is part of life but obviously you can´t be happy if you haven´t been through sad or tough moments and those kind of things happen daily, but we have to live with it because that´s what life is about.

 I study at the UPB in a degree of English and Spanish and I decided to study for being a teacher because I would like to change other minds with my knowledge because I know that my students someday will regret what I did for them…I know that I will become a teacher soon and I’m trying to do my best to accomplish that.
